Atleast once a day I'm going to post a new fact, explain it, and give you a link to a more in depth explanation.
Unlike humans, dolphins are “concious breathers” meaning that they have to think about breathing. This is because of an even more interesting fact, they can’t breathe underwater!
What dolphins need to do is go to the surface for air, meaning they have to think about swimming upwards, which means they can’t sleep (or else they might forget!)
